Hoop-A-Thon 2010

Are you worried about your fill of hoops once March Madness ends?

Fear not!  Hoop-A-Thon 2010 is here to save the day - in more ways than one!

On Sunday, April 18th, come join the founding family, the Viau's, as they help raise money for the Huntington's Disease Society of America, a disease that has affected their family directly.

Hoop-A-Thon is a fun-filled free throw basketball event benefiting HDSA.  Participants shoot as many free throws as thy can for five minutes.  Sponsors, signed up in advance, pledge a specific amount of money for every basket the sponsored shooter sinks.  Flat pledges are welcomed too.  Many shooters are there for the fun and prizes!  While this event started with a free-throw contest, it has now expanded to an entire afternoon of family fun, including special entertainment, carnival games, face painting, refreshments and a silent auction.

Last year, $45,000 was raised.  This year, the family would love to beat that amount!
