It has been a busy and great couple of months for me and the sales department. We have had a great start to the year including moving into a new office. As I said, we have had a busy start to the year beginning many new long term relationships between City Wide and our new clients. We always enjoy helping building managers and facilities departments to streamline their operations by assisting them in the management of their facilities, and consolidating their vendor lists by offering anything and everything that you would need to maintain your building properly. This time of year is always a good time of year for companies to look into their cleaning situations. Spring is near (if it ever gets here) and its also the beginning of the fiscal year for many companies.
Another exciting event that has happened in the sales department is that I was promoted to Sales Executive. I have spent the last year with City Wide learning the ways of the business and now I am ready to move into a more involved role in the sales process. I’m very excited to start the next part of my journey with City Wide and help as many people as I can in their facilities!
In addition, I was just as excited to hire someone to replace me in the department as a sales associate and found that person two weeks ago in Nick Harris. We are very excited about this young man’s potential and his enthusiasm regarding the industry and what we do.
On a more personal note, about a month ago, I took a great trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with my wife and a couple of our friends. We stayed at the Royal Playa Del Carmen resort which is the same place we stayed on our honeymoon 5 years ago. We managed to fit a couple activities in during our week down there (besides eating and relaxing). We played golf at a great course called Playacar and went snorkeling and cliff jumping at Xel-Ha. It was an amazing week in the sun and surf.
