Tyler DuBord: Facility Service Manager
This past month at City Wide has been great! We’re starting several new buildings in the south metro. I know Kirsten has been very busy orchestrating the start of these new medical customers. I even heard she stayed at a hotel a few nights to stay close to the area! Way to stay dedicated, Kirsten!
I have also been busy starting a couple accounts in the north. One of which is a water treatment manufacturing company who unfortunately, has had a tough go with cleaning services in the past. We've pulled more dirt and trash out of the building the first week than I've seen in a very long time. So far our new crews and night manager, Mike have been doing an excellent job getting the building up to speed. To combat the dirt, we brought a C3machine on-site to help clean the production area restrooms and lockers. A C3machine has the ability to pressure wash walls, partitions, fixtures, floors (etc) while diluting chemicals and applying to these surfaces. We let the chemical dwell for 10 minutes and use a squeegee to wipe the dirt and grime away. It does a fantastic job detailing every inch of a restroom. Thanks Mike for training our new crew on the use of this machine!
Last week we had our annual City Wide Mille Lacs fishing trip where most everyone attended. It was a gorgeous day as we headed north around 1pm to enjoy a day on Twin Pine’s launch boat. Many of us caught fish but there was one special someone who caught the first fish, the most fish, and the biggest fish. I won’t say who ;-) Greg and Kelly prepared brats on the grill along with snacks and beverages. A great time was had by all!We are wrapping up August by performing several quarterly floor waxing projects at our dialysis accounts. Our crews are staying busy with wax work, carpet cleaning, window cleaning and even a gym floor sand and seal-- I am excited to see the turn out of this project in particular as the product applied is quite spendy and is supposed to leave a nice protective layer with extra shine. Thanks to all our crews for the hard work near month end!
