Week In Review: July 14th - 18th

Andrew Chapman: Sales Associate

We have all been very busy this summer.  Our Facility Service Managers have been busy with summer projects such as pressure washing, carpet extracting, and a lot of windows being cleaned!

In the sales department we’ve been just as busy.  We’ve been working with a good number of schools to submit quotes before the summer comes to an end.  Most of the schools in our area have already decided who they’ll use for the 2014-2015 year but some are still looking.  If you know of any that need to review this before the year gets going, let us know and we’d be happy to help.  It’s great working with schools because the need for quality janitorial work is essential and we’re the company to provide it.  Honestly, it’s our kids were talking about so nobody (at least at City Wide) wants to skip on quality.

I’ve been more than busy in my personal life.  Over the 4th of July weekend I got engaged!  I didn’t want to be too predictable so I avoided popping the question at fireworks or on the 4th in general. I’m also waiting anxiously to close on a house at the end of the month.  We’ve been house hunting for months so we’re more than ready to call this one our home.  It’ll be my first home so it’s definitely keeping my nerves on high alert.

Right now I’m actually about to pack up my boat and head up north.  I’m going camping on Crescent Lake with my brother and two other friends. It should be a blast if this nice weather holds up.  I always enjoy fishing but when I’m up north with limited or no people around it really is a whole new level of relaxation.  With that being said, I’m hitting the road.
