Week In Review: Oct 27th - 31st

Tyler DuBord: Facility Services Manager

Fall is upon us, here in the great north! With that, comes our busy season in full force. Carpet cleaning and floor waxing account for most of our time during the beginning of this 4th quarter. Protection of our clients' floors are the number 1 priority when it comes to preventative maintenance, especially with our winters!

Fall also brings out the beauty of this state, which I greatly appreciate and never take for granted. The coloration change of the trees in this state always captivates me. I also get excited to prepare for lengthy sits in the deer stand. I have been up north a couple times already- bow hunting and preparing stands for the upcoming rifle season. This is something I look forward to all year. Wish me luck this year!

Jarrad Nickolite: Facility Services Manager

Hello from the West Metro:

I love this time of year!  -Great weather and lots to do.

This side of town continues to stay busy with finalizing snow removal details, interior and exterior window cleaning, fall clean up's, hard floor care projects and carpet cleaning.  In addition, we have some new customers coming on board!

Reach out to your FSM if you need any last minute items before the snow starts to fall.

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!

Week in Review: October 13th - 17th

Kirsten Lund: Office Manager

Hi from the office!

Well, I have been quite busy in the office. -I haven't had much time to share what's been happening! We recently took on a handful of new accounts. They certainly have been keeping everyone on their toes. Our admin team has done a great job of keeping all the paperwork straight, our Operations Team keeps active by inspecting the accounts and relaying all requests, as the Night Managers perfect them at night, and of course our Sales Team has been a huge help filling in whenever possible. When we start a new account we schedule an "Ops Walk."  With that, I have the opportunity to get out of the office and meet our contacts, while taking helpful notes to relay back to the crew. Without a doubt, this is my favorite part...getting out and shaking hands with the people that we will be making a difference with.

The Sales Team has been very active lately. With Tyler taking time off to tend to his new addition, Andrew Chapman (Sales Associate) has done an excellent job to make sure his absence has been seamless. Tyler and Andrew came up with a spooky marketing drop for Halloween. It is always fun to put together these special drops that make a big impact. Luckily, I will have Shelly in the office to help!

On the home front, my two little ones don't seem to be so little anymore. Ken (5) and Liz (4) are both getting excited for Halloween. They had a costume contest at Ken's Cub Scout pack meeting earlier this week.  Ken didn't take home a prize, but Liz won best girl costume! She was beyond thrilled! On top of Halloween, Ken's birthday is approaching faster than I can keep up.  Shortly after that we will be moving on to the craziness of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Where has this year gone? Hope you all enjoy the weekend, and are able to keep the cold weather germs away!

Week In Review: Oct 6th - 10th

Mitch Brunette: Director of Operations

The last opportunity I had to share on here, I was just wrapping up my BBQ contest- posting pictures of excellent food and looking forward to Fall.  Now that fall is here, I’m not embracing it as much as I originally anticipated!
We’ve continued to keep busy here in the office. Our team has been very involved in getting new accounts started in the last 2 weeks.   We picked up a large group of new medical clinics in town and our team has been working very hard, long hours to get them up to our standards. Then, we will be able to transition to our normal weekly visits vs. the daily attention.

I am presently working on getting a large floor care project set up, that will likely take a lot of time to complete before the snow flies.

Our FSM and Admin team have been working on a lot of snow bids lately for our sites. -Everything from ½” triggers for snow plows, to sidewalk shoveling services in order to maintain our clients sites.  There is still time to get a program in place if you haven’t bid out your snow!
On a personal note, I’ve been able to get out in the deer stand a few times the past few weeks. Each time I have seen deer, but no luck to close the deal yet.  Our Sales Executive, Tyler Olson ,was nice enough to meet me out at a ski shop and help me get setup with a set of cross country ski’s. Soon, I can add yet another hobby to my busy schedule!  My wife and I continue to cheer on the Vikings on the weekends, and hope to see Teddy back soon!

Week In Review: Sept 29th - Oct 3rd

Andrew Chapman: Sales Associate

Welcome to the Fall Season! I wish the summer could last forever but it’s Minnesota, so we all knew colder weather was ahead.  I actually don't mind fall, but dread the winter weather that is likely on it's way.  Archery season is open, though I sadly haven’t been in the woods yet.  Next week, Pheasant Season begins and I will definitely be heading either South or West to find some birds.  Before hitting the field, I think Tyler Olson and I will head out to South St. Paul Rod & Gun Club and practice on some clay pigeons.  I know I need the practice!

The entire team has been hard at work! We just started nearly a dozen medical facilities and still have a few more set to start in the middle of the month.  Very exciting time for City Wide!  This is the perfect time for us to be starting these accounts, with Flu season upon us.  A number of our customers have asked for our flu season package, so we can disinfect all the touch points around their offices and help keep the bacteria out.

I hope the trend of new business keeps up because it definitely keeps my mind off the colder weather.  Hopefully we’ll stay so busy that I won’t even know when winter arrives!!
