Greetings, from the Northwest Metro! I hope that winter is treating everyone great and that all are managing the cold weather and snow. Overall, I think that it has been a fairly mild winter, with only a couple large snow storms and minimal days of below zero temps.
Clients that we provide snow removal and parking lot salting for, are able to stick to business as usual, knowing that their lots and sidewalks will be well taken care of if it snows. Providing these types of services to our clients, also gives them an opportunity to review other maintenance items within their building. It's great having the peace of mind, knowing the exterior of their building is being taken care of.
This time of year also brings us great opportunity to sit down with clients and review the yearly maintenance plans for their buildings. We focus on putting together a structured plan for the upcoming year, which ensures that all items are taken care of when needed. Additionally, maintenance plans are an excellent way to budget costs for the year.
I have been actively sitting down with my clients to diagnose the needs of their buildings and determine the services that are most valuable to keeping the facility looking great. This takes a lot of the building maintenance burden off of their shoulders, as I manage the process from beginning to end.
On a personal note, I have had a few opportunities to get out on the ice and catch some fish. Although, I have not been as successful at bringing home dinner as I had hoped, it is still fun to get out and enjoy the Minnesota winter. Also, my girlfriend and I just got a very energetic golden retriever puppy, which gives us more of a reason to get outside on walks. We spent a sunny afternoon down at Minnehaha Falls, just walking around. It is amazing how the falls freeze! We were able to crawl up inside them and get some great pictures.
I hope that everyone is having a good winter and as always, if there is anything that we can help you with, please let us know.
