Hello everyone! I hope the recent snowfall hasn’t shocked too many of us, but winter is on its way. However, I’m hoping fall can hold on a little longer so we can enjoy the outdoor activities it brings. Thought I'd share what some of our Sales Team likes to do when the weather is nice.
Over the past few months myself and Senior Sales Executive, Tyler Olson, have been hitting the golf links after a successful sales week. We have been able to golf together a few times now on Friday afternoons, and each time is a treat! A few weeks ago, Tyler and I got out to enjoy a round at Inver Wood Golf Course. I always look forward to these outings because we are both competitive people, and being able to get out to golf feeds our competitive nature, amongst work discussions.
Inver Wood is a beautiful course, for being located within the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Often during our round, we talked about how we felt like we were in Northern Minnesota because of all the Pine Trees and elevation changes.
The front-9 started off slowly for both of us, with some tricky tee shots to maneuver. However, by hole 7 we had both hit our stride and were able to have multiple scoring opportunities on the back-9. When all was said and done, Tyler was able to shoot an 85 and I shot a 79. It’s always nice to get a quick W before the weekend!
If the snow can hold off around the metro area, this is the best time of year to golf. The fees are cheap, the courses are empty, and normally the weather isn’t too bad. I highly recommend pulling the sticks out a couple more times before the year is over! Have a good one!
