Thanksgiving

Michelle Jackson: Sales Associate

Thanksgiving is time when my family enjoys gathering together.  We laugh, talk, play games, and remember those that matter most to us.

Throughout the years, we've given back to our community by packing Thanksgiving dinners and passing them out with our church and with the Mozel Sanders Foundation in Indianapolis, IN. Since my move to Minnesota, my husband, family, and friends have volunteered our time at Feed My Starving Children.

Our typical Thanksgiving dinner consists of turkey, ham, three-cheese macaroni, fresh green beans, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, cranberry sauce, stuffing, potato salad, deviled eggs and much more.

Some years on Thanksgiving, we even allow the children in the family to open their Christmas presents early. It’s not often you get all of your family together in the same room, so we make the most of our time together and enjoy each other's company.

I would like to personally wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome, Noah!

Mitch Brunette: Director of Operations

I am very excited to welcome our newest FSM to the team, Noah Her! We have enjoyed getting to know Noah from the beginning of our interview process. He has rapidly demonstrated that he’d be a great fit for our team and a great FSM for our customers to interact with.

Noah has spent his first week in a mix of meetings with me at the office, going through the fundamentals of our business, industry and processes.  We spent a lot of time digging into why we do things the way that we do and Noah has been very diligent in understanding and asking great questions to be sure he’s in the best position possible when he gets out on his own in a few weeks.

The last two weeks he has spent time with Maghan Aschoff, watching her run her route and take care of business.  Now he’s been out for the week with Alex, picking up his tips, tricks, and ways of handling things.

I’m looking forward to getting to know Noah and his growing family as he gets going in the coming weeks.  We’re happy to have him here.

Welcome aboard Noah, thanks for joining our team!

Happy 1-Year Anniversary, Vang Khang!

Joel Willert: Facility Services Manager

Wow, does time fly!  It's hard to believe that it has been one year already that my Night Manger,  Vang Khang, has been at City Wide.  It has been a pleasure watching him grow and develop in the Building Maintenance Industry and become a great help to the City Wide team.

Vang was able to transition into the Night Manager position quickly upon being hired and has not looked back.  He carries great relationships with the City Wide cleaning and maintenance crews and has done his part in making sure that all facilities are looking top notch.

I look forward to a long lasting working relationship and maybe even doing some Pigeon racing, which is one of Vang’s go-to hobbies outside of the working environment.

Vang Khang: Night Manager

Wow! One year already and a part of me feels like I’m still very new. A BIG Thank You to Mitch Burnette for bringing me on board. Over the past year, I’ve seen myself grow in so many ways coming into this industry.  I have learned so much and gained so much knowledge about cleaning, building relationships with my contractors and being professional with my colleagues. I have a great group of Night Managers who are willing to help and give advice when needed. Also want to give a BIG Thanks to my FSM, Joel Willert, and Operation Manager, Steve Reid, for being the BEST!

Happy 1-Year Anniversary with City Wide, Vang!
