Last week, my family and I were able to take a break away from everyday life and go on an amazing vacation to Curacao Island together! We stayed at Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino. Sunscape is located along the largest resort beach on the island and directly in front of the National Underwater park, a top ranked dive site. This resort was simply amazing and very kid-friendly. Baby James even had an great time and the staff just loved him! The food was really good, I think my husband probably ate red snapper every day. I enjoyed eating at the Japanese Hibachi restaurant.
During our stay, we spent a great deal of time at the beach. James and I had the opportunity to take turns doing some snorkeling, water aerobics, and much more. We took the local bus over to Willemstad City for some shopping and ate at one of the local restaurants. Downtown Willemstad was gorgeous. We walked on the floating bridge, which was pretty cool. We also visited the Shete Boka National Park, which was breathtaking. We drove and walked to each location. There was a total of four parks. The Boka Wandomi, Boka Tabla, Boka Kalki and Noka Pistol. My husband had the opportunity to walk down into a cave and see some sea turtles as well.
This was by far one of our best family vacations we’ve ever taken. We met so many great people, shared laughs, bonded over family values and developed friendships that will last a lifetime.
We can’t wait until our next adventure!
