weeks back Tyler, Michelle, Adam and myself were lucky enough to clear our
calendars and enjoy an afternoon at Inverwood Golf Course, in Inver Grove
Heights. We couldn’t have asked for a
better day, no clouds in the sky and the temperature made it seem like we were
getting a workout even though we were just riding around in carts. Although it was very challenging, the course
was great. It had some of the most unique holes I’ve played on a golf course and I
would love to play this course again.
Tyler wasn’t hitting his own ball, he was serving as the groups' caddy. If he
hadn’t steered me in the right direction on majority of the holes, I probably
wouldn’t have had enough golf balls to finish.
Tyler had his driver cooking, he was probably the most consistent and
put together a pretty solid round. He,
by far, had the best golf attire of the group and confirmed “Look good, play
Michelle’s first time on a golf course and it wasn’t hard to tell how much fun
she was having. After a couple close
calls of accidentally almost hitting our boss with golf balls early in the
round, she made a few minor tweaks in her swing and was demolishing the ball
towards the end of the round. I think
Michelle even bought a few items off amazon while were in the cart together,
that was something I’ve never seen on the golf course. It was awesome!
earned himself quite the reputation around the City Wide office for his golf
game. After a rough start at the
beginning of the round, Adam chipped in on a par 3 that lead to a roar from the
gallery. That momentum lead him to have
a very strong back nine holes. I was
very impressed with his wedge game, he had a lot of great shots.
end of the day Adam defended his title as top golfer in the City Wide
office. It was a great day, with a great
group of people. Can’t wait for the next
